We are a friendly group in Nottingham, aiming to promote organic and sustainable gardening, and a more localised food culture. We have an Organic Demonstration Garden at Whitemoor Allotments in Nottingham and hold regular events and trips with an organic theme. Talks are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 7. Please check our events for more information. The NOGs Demonstration Allotment is used by members and gardeners and we meet here every other Saturday and alternate every other Mondays. Have a look at our Meet-up page for these repeating dates.

The garden is at Whitemoor Allotments, on Wilkinson Street. The garden can be found by entering the main allotment gate, heading to the car park, turn right in the car park and we are the allotment in the far right corner. The Wilkinson Street tram stop is only a minute away, and buses number 78 and 79 stop five minutes away on Nuthall Road. Please note that as this is an allotment site it is not normally open to the public.

Eating locally produced food has become mainstream in recent years. But for some, simply eating locally grown veggies just doesn’t take localism far enough: we should wear them too. Or, more specifically, we should dye our clothes with them. Audrey Leach heads an organisation called Primary Gardens, put the case for introducing locally grown natural dyes to our gardens. 2 for visitors – you can join on the evening.

Varieties of seed potato available at 18p per tuber. Unusual and organic varieties available as well as old favourites. We supply paper bags but do bring a carrier. ALSO – bread from Baz the Baker, local honey and homemade produce, the Urban Worm compost, Heritage Seeds by Thomas Etty, and local gardening groups.
