Gold Coast Stock Sports Club offers the local community opportunities to play the Stock Sport at high quality stocksport facilities, whilst fostering a positive, family-friendly social environment for all members and visitors. The beginnings of the Austrian club were initiated by Hermine Raup in 1985.

Hermine provided the venue for the get-together of local people interested in Austrian and  German culture, at her property,  lovingly called “Hero’s Haven”. The meetings were very popular and the group was outgrowing Hermine’s  meeting place. Hard work, dedication by the members and a mutual goal helped to create the new home for the Austrian club. In November 2002 a large gathering witnessed and celebrated the official opening by Dr. The Gold Coast Stock Sport Club and the Austrian-Australian Club are entirely run by volunteers. Nearly 300 happy singing and dancing guests feasting on sumptuous German food and singing along with Berlin Joe. The special performance by a three piece string group were a huge success, playing popular and classical music. Don’t miss out on our next events. We celebrated 3 birthdays and one farewell – Our dear friend Heinz is moving to Sydney to be with his family.
